Your experiences are invaluable and sharing them helps others in making the right choice. Resto.be reserves the right to publish or not publish posted comments. This comments policy was developed to prevent spam and is a synonym for quality advice, both positively and negatively.

Article 1

This is the default comment policy on the internet and is justified by the risk of spam. This risk is even increased by the large daily traffic on Resto.be. A waiting period of several hours to two weeks should be taken into account before a comment is put online. The elements as described in article 2 and 3 may influence the decision on whether to publish or not to publish a posted comment.

All comments posted on Resto.be are subject to approval. Resto.be reserves the right to not publish comments if they are found to be contrary to the good practices.These restrictions include: personal attacks or confused, unclear, aggressive, threatening, injurious, vulgar, false, racist, sexist or irrelevant comments.Moreover, you are forbidden from sending or transmitting any information that (a) breaches a third party's rights or violates their privacy or publicity rights, (b) is protected by copyright, a registered trademark or any other property right, unless you have explicit written permission from the owner of such a right, (c) is the result of a fraudulent identity theft or (d) is used to reach an illegal agreement against another person that violates freedom to trade or freedom of competition. You will be solely responsible for all losses resulting from any breach of copyright, registered trademark or any other property right, or any other loss resulting from your use of the Site.In brief: the focus lies on relevant and constructive advice. However, any comment, even unpublished, is automatically transferred to the business owner for his information.

Article 3

Resto.be had a zero tolerance policy for false or intentionally harmful comments. Resto.be wants to ensure that the published comments on its website are authentic and independent. Therefore, only registered users of Resto.be can write comments. Also the date on which you visited the restaurant is required. The author of a comment confirms that the content reflects his personal experience and subjective opinion about the restaurant, he is not personally or professionally linked to this restaurant and he hasn¿t received any form of compensation to write a comment. In case of doubt, Resto.be reserved the right to postpone the publication of a comment if it considers it necessary to verify the identity of the author via the subscribed e-mail address in order to prevent any abuse. Remark: if you are the owner or representative of a business, you have the right to respond on any comment that was written about your restaurant, using the function in your HorecaPro account.

Article 4

All communication or content that you transmit to the website by e-mail or other means, including all information, questions, comments, suggestions or other items, is and will be treated as non-confidential and not covered by property rights. Everything that you transmit or post can be used by Resto.be or the companies in its group for the purpose of their choice, including but not limited to, reproduction, communication, transmission, publication, broadcasting and postal correspondence. In addition, RestoBookings is free to use all of the ideas, concepts, expertise or techniques contained in all communication sent by you or on your behalf to the site for all types of use, including but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products through using this information. Resto.be accepts no responsibility for the items you submit or send to this site.
