My name is Peter Bouman and together with my wife Lie Tsai we run restaurant De Kluis since December 2010 in the beautiful old centre of Venlo. 

We were born in the North of the Netherlands (Noord Holland), from the city of Hoorn and The Hague. Our intension was to find a good location in the inviting and Bourgondic province of Limburg. 

The name of the restaurant (De Kluis = The Vault) was chosen because of the fact that this building was the oldest bank of Venlo. One can still admire the vault in the restaurant. Now in there is the wine storage located.
